Our Mission
WISE Objectives
Mentorship
To advance women’s leadership in peace and security by
inspiring and mentoring the next generation women
leaders in security and those interested, to pursue a
career in security.
Training
To improve effectiveness by enhancing our internal
capabilities to conduct security and safety training programs
through seminars, publications, conferences, media briefings,
talk shows among others.
Networking
To create a platform for women in Kenya and beyond to connect through networking forums, support forums and
exchange programs.
Safety & Security
To promote the safety, human rights, and dignity of women
and girls through security and safety awareness programs in
communities and marginalized areas to address societal
vices (Domestic Violence, Sexual defilement/harassment,
radicalization, violent extremism among others).
Growth & Development
To support women already within the security industry to
pursue and adopt non-conventional roles in the corporate
world with the aim of inspiring entry and growth in higher
positions.
Collaboration & Partnership
To expand global collaboration and partnerships through
affiliations with national, regional and international
institutions with shared values and objectives.
